Waterskiing & wakeboarding

Schotsman Watersportcentrum offers you the opportunity to (learn) water skiing or wakeboarding on the Veerse Meer. You can use the cable water ski track. Here you are pulled by a drag lift, over a distance of 820 meters per lap. There are numerous other activities such as banana rides, windsurfing and kayaking. The antics on the water can be clearly seen from the sunny terrace on the water. No need to get bored at Waterskicentrum de Schotsman!

The beautiful wide beaches on Noord-Beveland are perfect for kitesurfing.

In addition, our beaches have different spots with shallow and flat water. Ideal conditions for practicing and learning water sports.

Have you always wanted to experience the kick and experience where the wind brings you? If you want to get the taste of kite surfing, then you are at the right place at Vertigo sports. From April to September you can follow sports at the beautiful wide beaches of Vrouwenpolder in a group or one on one lessons at Vertigo. Under the guidance of professional and enthusiastic instructors and with the latest materials we give them a unique experience on and around the water.

Windsurfing and catamaran sailing

Zeeland has had a large surfing scene for years. The Veerse Meer is a popular surf spot and all the beaches where you can find kite surfers are also popular with surfers because of the wind. All facilities for a great surf trip. Incidentally, surfing at more places is permitted than kiting and you are therefore not bound to certain beaches. Windsurfschool de Veerse Dam has given windsurf lessons to beginners as well as advanced skiers since 1984. They guarantee the windsurfing feeling in a responsible manner.

SUP or Stand Up Paddle Boarding is rapidly gaining popularity all over the world. Explore the surroundings of the Veerse Meer in Suppend. At the Veerse Dam surf school you can rent a Supboard separately but also opt for a Suples. With a Suples, you and the instructor join the water and learn the techniques through various exercises. When you have mastered the basic techniques you can cross the Veerse Dam and take on the challenge at sea!

Sailing or sloop sailing

Hoist the sails and sail for freedom. Rent a sailboat or sloop and explore the many uninhabited islands in the Veerse Meer, or lay out in the picturesque Veere. The bright, salty Veerse Meer is ideally suited for a wonderful relaxing cruise with friends or family. Rent a boat during your holiday? This is possible via Waterfront Yacht Charter in Delta Marina in Kortgene!

Private yacht with skipper

No sailing experience, but still make a nice sailing trip? What do you think of a sailing trip on the Oosterschelde on your own private yacht with a professional skipper? You can sail a day or part of the day with your own travel group, at very affordable prices. Amazing Sailing has an extensive fleet including luxurious motor yachts, sailing yachts and nostalgic yachts. During a cruise you can roll up your sleeves yourself or simply relax on the deck. Departure from Roompot Beach Resort.

Sport fishing

Noord-Beveland has much to offer you as a recreational fisherman or angler and is therefore very popular with fishermen! The North Sea is very popular among anglers, fishing trips are regularly organized and lots of flatfish are caught from the shore.

An unexpectedly colorful world: the (w) underwater world of the Oosterschelde.

The Oosterschelde a boring basin of salt water? I do not think so! It is a paradise for divers and snorkelers. Thanks to the nutrient-rich water, animals and plants abound in the Oosterschelde.
